Passive POE Injector
A PoE injector is a device that allows supplying electrical power through an ethernet cable, in addition to transmitting data. This device is useful for powering network devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones, without the need for additional power cables.
It has a 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 input and output and is suitable for Reyee radio links, although it is also compatible with other brands. It has a maximum range of 100 meters.
The injector is connected to a power supply and a network switch. The injector inserts power into the ethernet cable, allowing the same cable to transmit as much data as power to the connected devices. This simplifies installation and reduces cable clutter. It also reduces installation and labor costs as there is no need to install additional power outlets, saving time and money.
This solution is efficient and practical for power and connectivity of network devices, especially where the installation of additional power cables is complicated.
