GTLAN Fiber Optic Fault Detector Optical Pencil

This FO fault locator pen is specially designed for field personnel who need an efficient and economical system. It is an essential tool in the maintenance and troubleshooting of fiber optic networks, allowing the technician to repair or replace the affected section quickly and effectively.

It works by emitting a beam of visible light, so that when it finds the break or discontinuity in the fiber, the beam is reflected towards the locator pencil. Thus the technician knows the exact location of the point where the problem is.

This pencil is a tool for BER tracking, BER routing and continuity checking in optical network.
