This deviceis used to locate and verify in a very simple way the state of a cable, locate if we have problems in a crossed cable, a short cable or if there is continuity in a RJ45 network cable of category 5, 5e, 6 and 7 (both in UTP and STP). It also tests telephone cables RJ11, RJ12, category 3 and other types of rigid and flexible conductors thanks to the alligator clips. It consists of a transmitter and a receiver unit.

Ideal for ordinary network or POE network installations, telecommunications maintenance, data communications, UTP/STP cable sourcing and positioning, monitoring, CATV and other indoor and outdoor cabling installation projects.

Conductor testing and location is done by tone. It works with special circuit design to eliminate noise and achieve efficient cable tracing. Its use is very simple, allowing to trace cables without electromagnetic interference.

With POE cable tracing. It is also ideal for BNC cable tracing. With this function it will be much easier to locate the port, since the transmitter will send flashing signals, helping us to determine the correct port.

It has a tracking distance of 600 meters. It is capable of non-contact voltage detection (NCV), this function is used to determine if the cable or equipment has AC voltage. On the other hand, it also determines the polarity of a telephone line. It has led light on the transmitter.

The tester works with a 9V battery (not included). The tester incorporates an on/off and low battery indicator on its front panel. As an accessory it includes alligator clips, carrying case and instruction manual.
