19’ Wall Rack Cabinets
19’ wall cabinets for structured cabling, data or coaxial installations, placing the cabinet hanging from the wall. The rack cabinets are useful to keep the technological elements and devices in the best conditions, protecting them from damage and fulfilling the cooling function to prevent overheating.
The dimension of the rack cabinets is determined by ‘rack units’, represented by the letter U. Each U indicates how many elements can be placed inside the rack (e.g. 4U, 5U, 6U, etc.). Some components, such as a patch panel, socket or tray, occupy a specific number of U's. This allows standardisation of the dimensions of the elements across all manufacturers.
Wall racks are an interesting option to consider, as they are easy to install in rooms where floor space is occupied and are safer for rooms where there is a risk of flooding, preventing water from entering the interior of the cabinet.
