Singlemode Optical Fibre Pigtail 0.9mm Simplex SC/PC 1m
1 metre unsheathed fibre optic pigtail with SC/PC connector at one end only, the other bare end is used for splicing to the main cable fibre.
Pigtails are short strands of fibre that are factory-terminated at one end only, and are used to terminate the fibre cable with a connection so that it can be connected to the appropriate termination. This is done because fibre splices are much less lossy and quicker to make than connecting the fibre yourself.
