MIFARE proximity key fobs have an integrated microchip that, when brought close to the reader, emits a radio frequency signal that activates it. When the microchip is activated, it returns an identification code to the system. In order for the system to allow you access, a simple pre-programming and adding the key to the memory is required.

These keys do not need to be powered, so no battery is required. They come in black color. These key fobs do not come configured. An engraving tool is required to set an initial code so that it can work with the readers. If they are not programmed, they will not work.

The MIFARE key communicates with the reader at a frequency of 13.56 MHz. This key ring is rewritable, very light, comes with a ring and is made of PVC.
