MicroElectronics Ku-Band Single LNB for C120 Type Source
This LNB is a device used in satellite TV signal reception systems, in this case to receive signals in the Ku band of the frequency spectrum, ranging from 10.7GHz to 12.75GHz. It is used in rural areas, with large parabolic antennas or in commercial applications, where there are important atmospheric interferences and it is necessary to provide a great stability and resistance to the link. Its high frequency allows the use of smaller antennas and improves signal quality compared to the C band.
Type Ky LNBs are designed to be less susceptible to interference from rain, for example, so it is ideal for locations with variable weather.
It has a high gain, capturing the weakest signals, converting high frequencies to intermediate frequencies. It also has a low noise level of 0.1dB, which improves the quality of the received signal.
It is single type, which means that it has an output that can be used for H/V polarization (only one of the two) for KU band satellites.
