This 10-output decoder is the ideal complement to your IP master unit, being able to manage dry contacts. It works with the standard Modbus protocol and in conjunction with the IP master relay decoder, making the Lynx network fully integrable with systems requiring dry contact inputs.

What is a dry contact? It is the one that between terminals A and B will not measure any voltage in the open and closed states of the relay. Unlike wet contact, which is when two voltages will be measured between terminals A and B: 0 and V, in the open and closed states of the relay.

With each IP master module, up to 32 slave modules can be added. We can find several characteristic functions:

Elevator control. The relay generates the activations of the dry contacts necessary for the elevator control system. Each of the exits can be assigned a floor.
Secure Door Opening: The relay combined with its IP relay decoding from the master unit, allows the Lynx system to trigger door opening from ubiquitous relay modules instead of panel relays.
Additional functions: Any special features that can be controlled by dry contact can be managed with the Lynx relay.
