Indispensable tool for any fiber optic installer. This light source is compact, portable and robust. With a manageable size and double 2500 mAh Nickel metal hydride battery.
It is used to measure the attenuation of an optical fiber in a point-to-point link. Suitable for SM fiber, it contains a laser diode that works at 1310/1550nm wavelengths.
With an operating range from -10ºC to 50ºC, the device automatically turns off when not in use to save battery life. It also has a backlit screen.
