Ek Metek HDD 240003 Field Meter

The Metek HDD is a very complete meter for professionals looking for a reliable, complete and very competitive device, covering all their needs. Metek HDD is the first generation of field meters developed by Ekselans entirely in Europe.

The meter is used for ICT.2 type F, it measures radio signals transmitted under the DVB-T/T2, DVB-S/S2 (also multistream) and DVB-C standards for SD and HD signals (MPEG2, MPEG4, HEVC), with high resolution spectrum. It allows the measurement of signals in the 4G and 5G mobile telephone bands.

When performing the measurement, the device displays three types of information: the measurement itself, the spectrum display and video playback (image and sound).

The meter has a large 7” high resolution color LCD screen. With external USB screenshot functions (dedicated button) and automatic brightness adjustment.

It allows measurements of power, MER, BER (Channel and Viterbi), erroneous packets and noise margin. HEVC (H.265), H.264, MPEG2, SD, and HD decoding. It also allows you to detect 2.4Ghz WiFi, showing the name of the available SSIDs.

It has a single F male input connector, with automatic attenuator, admitting powers per channel of up to 120 dBμV in 5dB steps.

The design of the meter is designed to facilitate the installer's work. Its very light weight and ergonomic buttons, keys and connectors make the use of this meter very easy. Menu navigation is very intuitive, allowing navigation by a group of programs or by frequency.

On its side we can find an HDMI output, the USB connector, an RS.232 port and a power input.
