Launch coil. Ref. AF-018 by Promax
This launch coil is used for a correct measurement with fiber optic OTDRs. They are used to eliminate the initial dead zone, which is the most difficult to measure accurately. With it we will obtain greater precision in measurements.
Suitable for multimode fibers. The length of the coil is 1000 meters. Thanks to its design it is very easy to transport, since it comes in a magnetized case.
With very low attenuation loss, in the range of 0.3 dB/km maximum. The coil has SC connectors on both sides, with a useful life of more than 1000 connection and disconnection cycles.
