The SA901 amplifier is usually installed at the beginning of the network before the multiswitch. The amplifier has its own power supply and is intended for indoor use only.
The SA901 series multichannel amplifiers are part of medium and large SMATV networks. The main functions of the SA901 series are:
- Compensate for the loss of signals in the network.
- Match the power of signals on different lines.
- Supply voltage to LNB converters and other network elements (for example, terrestrial amplifiers, active splitters, couplers, SA911 interstage amplifiers, MSV series multiswitches).
The amplifiers have been manufactured according to the EN60065 safety standard.
