Ajax Outdoor Dual Curtain PIR Detector

This device is a dual curtain type outdoor motion detector, designed to protect the perimeter of your home without creating obstacles for those already inside. It features two PIR sensors, allowing accurate and reliable detection up to 15meters on each side. The detector's IR sensors identify intrusions by identifying moving objects with temperatures close to human body temperature, thanks to temperature compensation.

Detection is bi-directional, the sensors can be independently adjusted to cover specific areas avoiding false alarms caused by elements such as bushes or people on the sidewalk. The sensors are equipped with anti-masking technology that responds to attempts to paint the lens or cover it. Its unique ELSA software responds to intruders, ruling out activations by natural interference or pets. ELSA is an advanced algorithm that uses optical systems to ensure that alarms are only triggered when actual human movement is detected.

It has a pet immunity system up to 80cm, which makes it ideal in homes where we have small animals. The Dual PIR detector has a narrow horizontal viewing angle and is designed to monitor the perimeter and paths of the protected installation such as windows, arches, doors or gates.

It is compatible with the Hub Plus, Hub 2 and Hub 2 Plus control panels.
