1Gbps RJ45 Cable to SFP Port or Vice Versa Converter, Tp-Link MC220L
Media converter equipment from copper RJ45 (10/100/1000 Mbps) to fiber optic through SFP module, or vice versa. Extend the distance of an existing gigabit Ethernet network over fiber optic cable by inserting an SFP module.
The MC220L converter allows long-range point-to-point connections (kilometers), for example to connect networks of several buildings and large areas such as factories or urban complexes. The maximum transmission distance of the fiber depends on the SFP module that is inserted.
The fiber, in addition to traveling long distances without attenuation, is totally immune to electrical interference, so it is also the best solution for routes with a lot of noise, such as industrial areas.
We recommend its use with Tp-Link's TL-SM321A and TL-SM321B SFP modules.
